Yesterday on Hugh Hewitt's radio program, Sarah Palin called her son a "stinker."
A "stinker," she said!
She was joking, of course.
Asked about her son Track and how she was dealing with his recent deployment to Iraq, she jokingly referred him to that way when mentioning he had called his girlfriend but not his own mother.
I liked that.
The woman is honest and real, like I am, like my neighbors are, like people who don't speak Washingtonian are.
It's refreshing.
I wish the McCain camp would let her out a bit more. I want people to hear her talk that way!
I like ordinary. Sarah Palin is ordinary. She has common sense, she talks like a normal person and she has good values. I don't care if she doesn't yet know the name of the Acting Minister of the Interior of Swaziland. She can learn it in the future for heaven's sake.
I'm rootin' for her this Thursday.
